Academic Achievements
Ava, a senior at Burr and Burton Academy has received honors every year so far. Along with this she received an honor in efforts in Spanish. Ava is looking into colleges but is still looking for the right fit.
Athletic Achievements
Starting on Varsity Lacrosse for the last 2 years, she is hoping to pursue this dream in college. Ava has played lacrosse for the last 10 years and with each year she has loved the game even more. Ava was captain of her JV lacrosse team her freshman year, leading them to the first ever JV lacrosse team going undefeated.
Community & Leadership
Ava has worked/given to her local food shelter for years. Her freshman year she began gardening for the cupboard and has done that for the 3 summers. Along with community service, Ava also plays a large leadership role in the community. Ava has gone to most of the leadership meetings over the last 3 years, was invited to a leadership conference in Burlington, VT, and will be attending her 3rd leadership summit that is hosted at Burr and Burton. It will be Ava's second time running the summit.
